- Dr. John Yoo, an internationally renowned surgeon, was named Western’s newest medical Dean last week.

- Yesterday, the London Public Library launched the loaning of instruments. The Central Library branch will now have musical equipment for three week loan to all patrons. Instruments include ukuleles, electric and acoustic guitars as well as amps and bases.

- Two London locals published a book about Southwestern Ontario farmers that is now being adapted into a play. The book, Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz, was written by Bonnie Sitter of Exeter and Shirleyan English of London.

- Two members of the mustang wrestling team took Gold at the Brock Open on Saturday.

- Today we will see sun mixed with rain and a high of 6 degrees. Tomorrow, rain will turn to snow and continue through the day and into Thursday. Wednesday will bring a high of 3 and Thursday will cool down to minus 1 with flurries.
