CAMPUS:

-McIntosh Gallery’s most recent exhibition, Gerard Pas: Broken Body, opened last Friday, January 10th. The exhibit showcases the art of local London artist Gerard Pas, including a selection of drawings, paintings, sculptures, and original installations spanning over 20 years of the artists’ work.

-More than 500 people gathered at Western University's Alumni Hall to honour the lives of the four students who were killed when a Ukraine International Airlines plane crashed in Iran last week.

LOCAL:

-Figures released Wednesday by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. (CMHC) show that strong population growth and the real estate market both pushed London’s vacancy rate in 2019 to its lowest level in nearly two decades.

SPORTS:

-The men's basketball team lost 87 to 84 in overtime to the Brock Badgers on Wednesday evening.

-The women's basketball team defeated the Brock Badgers 67 to 59 on Wednesday evening.

WEATHER:

-An extreme weather warning of snow squalls and blowing snow expected this afternoon and tonight.

-Tomorrow, expect a temperature of negative four degrees with mainly sunny skies. Moving into Saturday, expect a temperature of three degrees with snow. It is currently negative one degrees with some wind and snow.
