Intended for at-home parents and caregivers with children, these fun-filled and educational afternoons include a different exhibition visit each month followed by a related art-making activity. This winter/spring, we’ll look at the Museum's permanent collection of paintings, learn about the history of hair and create our own wigs, explore the art of music and more!
This month we will tour the Women to the Front and The Polaris Music Prize Posters exhibits, two of our music related exhibits celebrating the JUNO awards in London. Then we will head to the studio to design our own concert posters and album covers using a variety of artistic techniques. We'll talk about what it takes to market a band in the music industry, from creating a look to designing merch! Get ready to explore the visual art side of music!
