Campus News:
-Yesterday hundreds waited out in the rain at Alumni Hall to watch the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau speak 
-Talking to citizens in a town hall format, he opened the evening with remarks and gratitude toward the First Nation’s People of Canada
-Overall a successful night of Democracy that many students on campus and people in the community won’t soon forget

Sports:
-The London Knight were defeated last night the Kitchener Rangers 5-1
-London only has two players who were born later than 1999
-The green and gold will be in action again tonight against the bolstered Hamilton Bulldogs 

-Rock Basacco, the long-time head coach of the Western Mustangs men's soccer program, has decided to retire after 21 seasons at the helm
-Basacco led the purple and white to nine appearances at nationals, with Western capturing two bronze and one silver medal to go along with their two national titles

-Western Mustangs men’s hockey team plays tonight against the Waterloo Warriors, you can be listened to live right here on Radio Western at 6:50pm as we set you up for the 7pm puck drop.

Weather:
-Expect ice pellets this afternoon to form as the temperature will drop to -3, that will turn into scattered flurries by this evening as we dip down to -11 overnight 
-Saturday, Old Man Winter returns with a -11 high and a few flurries and the wind chill making it feel like -21 and by Sunday the light flurries continue -9 is the high
