Campus News: 
-Today, Liberal Federal MP, Peter Fragiskatos, will be visiting Western and having a roundtable discussion with members of the USC

Local News:
-School buses for London, Middlesex County, Oxford County and Elgin County were cancelled early this morning just before 6 a.m, but all schools are to remain open 
-This is the first time school buses have been cancelled this year 
-A special weather statement from Environment Canada for London, Parkhill, Strathroy, Komoka, Eastern Middlesex County and Western Middlesex County was re-issued early this morning   
-If you’re out and about, take extra care on the roads with potentially difficult driving conditions  

Sports:
-Last night the Western Mustangs men’s hockey team took on the Windsor Lancers at Thompson Arena 
-The Mustangs had won 9 of their last 10 games and had climbed the OUA standings into the 4th position in the process
-While Windsor was tied with Toronto with 23 points for the 8th and final playoff spot 
-In a game heard right here on the “Original voice of the Western Mustangs” Windsor trailed 3-1 in the 3rd period only to prevail 5-3 with an empty netter
-The Mustangs will be back in action Saturday night, as they head to Windsor for a rematch of tonight's game in the final game of the regular season

-Tonight is Seniors night for the Western women’s hockey team, as they host the York Lions at Thompson Arena with a 7:00pm puck drop 
-The purple and white are in 2nd place in the OUA Standings looking to beat out Queen’s before the season’s end 
-York on the other hand is on the outside looking in, with a loss tonight eliminating them from playoff contention
-If you can’t make the game, you guessed it, you can listen live here on Radio Western, just tune in at 6:50pm as we set you up for the puck drop

Weather:
-5-10cm of snow is predicted for this afternoon with the temperature hovering around -6, it will turn to scattered flurries overnight with the temperature at -8 
-Your weekend will have plenty of the white stuff, expect light snow on Saturday and -4, then Sunday will be -3 with another 5-10cm expected over the day
