  • A haunted house opened yesterday in the UCC, an annual tradition run by Western’s Food Support Services to fundraise for the food bank. 

  • Students are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items or $2 to take part in this spooky de-stressor as many are in the middle of their midterms.

  • The Haunted House will be up until tomorrow, Thursday October 24th

  • Western University's Wind Engineering, Energy and Environment Research Institute has created a 3D wind research chamber with which they can study tornadoes and other wind-related phenomena

  • WindEEE’s commitment to research, education, and innovation has mixed with this practical component to create unique opportunities to observe wind tunnels on a smaller scale



  • Fragiskatos took the London seat on Monday’s election with a 10 point margin, although the support has decreased from years previous in a way that mirrors the Liberal’s federal support
  • Students at London’s International Academy were evacuated just before midnight last night after reports of a gas leak emerged. Gas remains shut off, although students were re-admitted to the building around 1 am after being welcomed into the restaurant Shelby’s, which had been closing at the time.



  • Western basketball versus the University of Windsor today in Windsor. Women’s basketball at 6 pm and men’s basketball at 8 pm
