-A Western University English lecturer has apologized for using the N-word during class in a statement posted to the university’s website.

-The Society of Graduate Students at Western University are hosting a Family Halloween Party at The Grad Club tomorrow from 5pm-7pm.

LOCAL:

-Environmental advocates and cyclists in London are using a social media campaign to mobilize against city politicians who dismissed a report suggesting city hall take action to address climate change.

-The ByronScaryHouse invites you to their 16th annual Haunted House, spend Halloween at VRcadia’s unique Virtual Reality lounge, and London’s biggest gaming playground is hosting a Halloween Carnival.

SPORTS:

-The Mustangs women’s volleyball team went head-to-head with the Badgers in a Sunday afternoon game on October 27th. Despite their consistent energy, the Western women fell short in a 1-3 loss against the opposition.

-The Western Mustangs women’s soccer team won their first playoff game 1-0 against the McMaster Marauders Sunday afternoon.
