CAMPUS:
-To support online student learning, Western is introducing the option for students to change their numerical grade to a Pass or Fail. The deadline to drop courses without academic penalty has also been extended.

-A video featuring Senior Facilitator in Human Resources Nancy Stewart suggests some tips and tricks on how to be most productive while working from home.

LOCAL:
-On Saturday, the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa tweeted that China was going to send thousands of medical masks, gowns, and gloves to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

-Trudeau announced yesterday that the federal government is going to help charities that provide crucial services to vulnerable Canadians.

-Chief Public Health Officer of Canada Dr. Theresa Tam said that this week will be a crucial time to determine whether physical distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are working.

-Signs have been popping up around the city with messages of hope and solidarity.

WEATHER:
-Tomorrow, expect a temperature of 7 degrees with showers. Moving onto Wednesday, conditions improve with a temperature of 10 degrees and mainly sunny skies. It is currently 6 degrees with some showers.
